StartSQLDiagTrace command file in 3.0.0.0

description

Where is StartSQLDiagTrace command file in 3.0.0.0 which is used to start trace and collect data? I could not find it.
Any help will be appreciated.

What are you attempting to do with StartSQLDiagTrace?

Before 3.0.0.0 versions, for example, in 2.5.0.7 there is StartSQLDiagTrace2008 Windows NT command script that we run from MS command prompt to start trace which is collected in SQLDiagOutput folder. I do not see this StartSQLDiagTrace2008 Windows NT command script in 3.0.0.0.

This feature has been discontinued in SQL Nexus. If you need to collect data using SQLDIAG, then you need to configure it using the XML Config file and pass that to SQLDIAG. Some examples are mentioned in this whitepaper:
