SQLDIAG /SQLSERVER 2008

Mar 29, 2010 at 4:46 PM

Hello everyone!
I collected information for performance with SQLDIAG on a SQL instance
SERVER 2005 SP2 and it works nickel! I therefore set
perspective of the performance monitor information file (. BLG) and traces
SQLTRACE (file ... __sp_trace.trc). so far no problem.
So I copied the configuration file (mySQLDIAG.xml) to run
the SQLDIAG on my body SQLSERVER 2008 SP0. I took care
edit my config file (mySQLDIAG.xml) the <Forum
name = "*" windowsauth = "true" ssver = "10" user = "">
to reflect version 10 (SQLServer 2008) instead of 9
(SQLSERVER2005). When launching the command
sqldiag / IE: \ traceSQLDIAG \ mySQLDIAG.xml / OE: \ TraceSQLDIAG \ testToday
I have this error:
2010/03/29 16:50:33.18 TESTBED_ZINZINDOHOUE \ * Error updating perfmon log
. Function result: -2147481643. Message: No data to return.
Have you an idea about this error?
Thank you in advance

Hi zinzineti,

I downloaded PerfStatsScript2008.zip located in http://sqlnexus.codeplex.com/Wiki/Info.aspx?title=Sql2005PerfStatsScript&action=Info. Perhaps you can use the configuration file.

Thank you.

Can you check if Remote Registry service is running?

For more information on modifying the XML config file, please refer:
