<DBName>__SQL_2005_Perf_Stats_Snapshot_Shutdown.OUT

Hi,

1) Any idea why 559 lines processed from <DBName>__SQL_2005_Perf_Stats_Snapshot_Shutdown.OUT but only 1 rows inserted?

2) Why I couldn't find any report to show data related to -- Top N Query Plan Statistics --, -- Missing Indexes --? I think this should related to first question.

Thanks,

Kenny

The Perf Stats Snapshot Shutdown file is used for getting the Query Hash information for data captured from SQL Server 2008 instances only. The file that you have mentioned above is a SQL Server 2005 Perf Stats script file. This will not let you capture Query Hash information.

The rowset importer decides to import data based on the table definitions supplied. If no matching data is found, then no rows are inserted into the Nexus database.

Currently there is no report for Missing Indexes available in SQL Nexus. However, if you have RML utilities installed, you can track down the TOP N CPU, Duration, Reads/Writes statements/batches. You can drill down further to get their plans.
